Comparison Chart Terms
SC Freedom Caucus: A legislative group that recognizes the permanent administrative state, filled with unelected bureaucrats, has run roughshod over our state legislatures and consolidated power. They stand for conservative values, defending the Republic, and fighting for “the future of our children.” website
DEI - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: We agree that a diverse and inclusive workforce fuels productivity, innovation, employee engagement, and decision-making. However, systemic DEI creates this in a forced and unnatural way by focusing on race and fostering feelings of being disadvantaged. It can also prevent the most qualified candidate from being hired due to a biased, unfair, and quota driven recruiting process.
CRT - Critical Race Theory: A descendent of Critical Theory, based in Marxism, that began in Frankfurt, Germany in the 1920s. It makes race the lens through which students approach life, undermines a generation, pits the races against each other, and creates a victim class mentality. CRT ultimately weakens the public and private bonds that create trust and allow for civic engagement.
